Unsupervised Machine Learning for Managing Safety Accidents in Railway Stations.

The project titled "Unsupervised Machine Learning for Managing Safety Accidents in Railway Stations" involves analyzing accident data collected from railway departments and local police stations, including details like accident type, time, location, environmental factors, and possible causes. After preprocessing the data, unsupervised learning algorithms such as K-Means and DBSCAN were applied to identify hidden patterns and accident-prone zones. Techniques like PCA and t-SNE were used to reduce dimensions and visualize trends more clearly. Additionally, anomaly detection models like Isolation Forest and One-Class SVM helped identify rare or critical incidents caused by system faults or human negligence. Based on the insights, the project proposed preventive measures such as operator training, scheduled maintenance, and infrastructure improvements to enhance overall safety at railway stations.

The Project I worked as a Software QA Intern, focusing on testing web and mobile applications in the Transportation and Logistics domain. I was involved in testing the nüVizz Driver App, used for real-time delivery tracking and route management, and the Xdock App, designed for warehouse and godown operations. My responsibilities included conducting functional, regression, and UI testing across web, Android, and iOS platforms, as well as performing API testing using Postman to validate backend integrations. I created and executed test cases based on Agile user stories, reported bugs in JIRA, and collaborated closely with the development team to ensure timely fixes. This experience helped me gain hands-on exposure to end-to-end QA processes in a real-world logistics environment.
